Quilts, crochet and more quilts There is more to life than just books. There is quilting and crochet. My library hold a quilting a crochet group every few Saturdays, oh the wonderful things they make. The only reason I even know anything about quilting is my supervisor LOVES it, it will come up at least once a day. Her eyes fill with a creative wonder as she retells her experience at the "Quilts Emporium" weekend she had in the city. "It's amazing to see how colours can go with these other colours, I would've never thought of this." When it comes to crochet, she is a master, showing the ladies next door how to create little squares and blankets and help them out of any kind of trouble they've gotten themselves into. It makes me honestly reflect on how simple things, like crochet, can really bring a small community together, and how easy it is for each of us to help one another.
